    If anyone out there is new to dealing with limb loss with their child, or maybe finding their role as caregiver changing after a trauma, I cannot recommend this woman’s blog enough! Her son was in a car accident when he was seventeen and suffered multiple injuries including lower limb amputation.

    This post has a lot of specific details about dealing with doctors on the road to receiving a prosthesis. She’s funny and candid, and I was surprised to read that she had to ask her son’s doctor to refer a prosthetist, and not the other way around! Just goes to show how important it is to stay informed.
