Elizabeth
In April of 2022, Elizabeth became very sick with sepsis and lost both of her legs below the knee and her left arm above the elbow during her battle. She is an incredibly strong and resilient young lady and was back in school and worked very hard to adjust to her prostheses and limb differences her amputations. Elizabeth is extremely smart and is studying at a school for gifted children in Memphis, Tennessee. With the help of the Jordan Thomas Foundation, Elizabeth has resumed most of the activities she enjoyed prior to her sickness, including swimming and sports, and is an amazing advocate for the limb loss community.
