On Saturday, May 8th, 2021, Kaden Bagley (16 years old at the time) was involved in an accident while tubing on Lake Murray. He was rushed to Richland Memorial Hospital’s Trauma Center and underwent emergency surgery. His right leg was very badly damaged, and his left leg was fractured. Unfortunately, Kaden had to have his right leg amputated at the knee. Within days of his accident and still in the hospital at the time, Kaden and his family were visited by Jordan who was able to understand his situation and walk alongside him in recovery like no one else. Ever since, Kaden and his family have been a true light in the JTF Family. Now almost three years since his accident, Kaden is absolutely thriving – he snowboards, wakeboards, is a standout wheelchair basketball player, and so much more.

On the anniversary of his accident, Kaden and his family host the inaugural 5K-Aden Run/Walk in his hometown of Columbia, SC with all proceeds going towards JTF. We are so honored to once again be part of the 2024 5K-Aden – please join Kaden and his family on Saturday, April 27th and support this amazing event!
