Angie
Born in Costa Rica, Angie entered the country’s child welfare system at birth after her parents were unable to meet her medical needs. Angie was adopted shortly after her second birthday and has had multiple surgeries and overcome many setbacks since coming to the states. She received her first prosthesis just before her third birthday and loves to play and be active, but struggled to keep up with her peers. Through JTF, Angie recently got her first sports leg and we are so happy to be able to give her the opportunity to live the life every kid deserves!
