Lukas

Lukas underwent a knee disarticulation amputation at three months old due to cancer. He received his first prosthesis at nine months old and while he has been successful in many areas of his life, he has started to struggle to keep up with his peers. Lukas recently started playing soccer and due to the limitations with his current prosthesis, he was getting frustrated to the point that most times he did not want to participate at all. Lukas’s family is so excited to be part of JTF and hope that an activity limb will eliminate many of the obstacles he currently faces.
