Owen was involved in an accident just shy of his third birthday in 2013, that resulted in the amputation of his right foot. He received his first prosthesis before the year ended and quickly adapted – Owen hasn’t let his accident stop him one bit! Owen is currently involved in two basketball teams and also enjoys golfing with his father and brother and now that he has received an activity limb through JTF, his game has been taken to a whole new level! Last year in our inaugural Peer-to-Peer fundraiser celebrating Limb Loss Awareness Month, Owen and his family took the top fundraising spot for our JTF Families, raising over $13,000 for JTF!
