Aidin

Aidin is an outgoing, upbeat, and energetic kid who does not let the fact that he has limb differences on all four limbs stop him from doing anything he puts his mind to. At seven months old, Aidin contracted bacterial meningitis with sepsis and was hospitalized for more than four months. He is very independent and always figures a way to get things done in his own way. Aidin has exceled in running and swimming since receiving his activity limbs.

Aidin started competitively swimming in the fall of 2022.  With less than two years under his belt, he is placing at both Para swimming and regular USA Swimming Competitions.  This year he earned 6 first place awards at the Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Regional Games, 5 1st place and a 2nd place award at the Bill Keating Cincinnati Para-Swimming Open, and 2 4th place, a 5th place, 7th, 8th and 9th place awards at the Delta Aquatics Chase The Dream Championships.  He will next compete at the Hartford Nationals where he is hoping to add at least one more gold medal to his awards, which he was able to do at last year’s competition.
