Emma
Emma is a sweet, smart, and funny 11-year-old who loves to be in the water! She was adopted from
China in late 2019 and while her family was initially told she had a clubbed foot, they soon learned it was much more involved than that. Emma was diagnosed with Fibular Hemimelia six months later and underwent a below knee amputation on her right leg. Now in the fourth grade, Emma is absolutely thriving and we are so happy to be able to help her get a specialized prosthesis that she can wear in the water as her family lives near the beach and she loves to go swimming in the ocean and play in the waves almost every day in the summer!
