Lincoln
Lincoln lost his leg at 3 months of age due to an injury during open heart surgery. He did not get blood flow to his leg for over 8 hours and it subsequently had to be amputated. He has had many revisions to his limb since his initial amputation and it is a very tough fit in any prosthesis. Lincoln enjoys being active and does as much as he can with his standard limb. This summer he participated in a Triathlon for disabled children and enjoyed it very much. We dream of him being able to run better with a blade and being able to keep up better with his friends at school. He is a great kid, with a positive attitude.
