Linna

Born with Amniotic Band Syndrome, Linna was adopted from China at 2 1/2 underwent an above the knee amputation after coming to the states in order to be a better candidate for a well-fitting prosthesis. After starting at a local prosthetic clinic and not having a good experience, her family feels so blessed to have found POA when Linna was around four years old. Linna is an extremely active little girl and loves dancing, being in the water, and playing wheelchair basketball and without her running blade (that she wears all the time!), she wouldn’t be able to participate in these activities that she loves and have the same confidence that she possesses to try new things. Linna’s family is so grateful for the support of JTF to make sure Linna has access to the prosthetic devices she needs to thrive.
