Mei
Mei became a JTF Kid when she was just twelve years old and starting to excel as a competitive swimmer. Mei’s greatest accomplishments is competing in Tokyo at the Paralympics during the summer of 2021. As a congenital above knee amputee on her right leg, Mei is an inspiration to so many and has never let her limb difference hold her back. She loves all sports, but especially anything on the water like paddle boarding, tubing, and jet skiing. In order to train for swimming, Mei frequently weight lifts and runs and is so thankful to JTF for providing her with the prostheses that she needs to achieve her dreams. Mei is the Kaitlin Scholarship Recipient. Mei is currently majoring in Biology and has dreams of being a pediatric nurse.
