Seraphina
Seraphina was adopted from China when she was 7 ½ years old. She came into her new family with a prosthesis that was too small and hurt her so much that she refused to wear it. Because she was born with PFFD, she needed surgery to prepare her limb for a better fitting and more functional prosthesis. Once she was fitted with her new prosthetic device, she was able to learn how to walk, run and eventually ride a bike. Seraphina has lots of energy and likes to stay busy! You can find her riding her bike around the neighborhood, swimming at the pool or creating sidewalk art. She loves to make new friends and talk to people so if you see her come over and introduce yourself!
