Having undergone a below knee amputation on her left leg due to a congenital limb difference, Sydney has been an amputee almost her whole life. Until she was near adulthood, Sydney only ever had a basic walking leg – until she became a One Time Young Adult JTF Recipient in 2021. Sydney is grateful for JTF for giving her hope, encouragement, community, confidence, and comfort. She is currently a first-year student at Bethany Global University in Minnesota where she is pursuing a double major in Montessori Education and Bible & Theology and training to be a missionary. One Time 18-24 Year Old Recipient and Kaitlin Scholarship Recipient.
