Henry
Henry is an incredibly sweet and kind ten-year-old boy who was adopted from China at four years old. Henry was born with limb differences on all four limbs and struggled to find a well-fitting, functional prosthesis. Henry’s previous prosthesis was incredibly painful even walking short distances and limited him from running and participating in other activities. Now that Henry is a JTF Kid, we were able to introduce him to an amazing prosthetist and help get him new prostheses that not only allow him to walk pain-free, but to run for the first time in his life. Henry has faced many challenges with his self-confidence, as he has always been different from his peers and struggled to do many of the sports and activities he has always wanted to participate in, but now with his new running blade, Henry is blossoming and living the life every kid should.
