Savannah

Savannah

As an infant, Savannah was diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis (NF-1) and at age 3, she had to undergo an amputation on her right leg below the knee due to issues with the bone healing from an early break. Throughout her youth, she had tried several types of prostheses, none of which enabled her to run with ease despite her best efforts. After becoming a JTF One Time Young Adult Recipient in 2020, Savannah was able to get a running blade that allows her to rock climb and remain active. Savannah enjoys hiking outside, reading, music, working with children, traveling, and has competed in national and world events for rock climbing!
